All movies are fullly legal and are provided using the latest DivX DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology. This technology allows you to watch any downloaded content on your PC, or on / through any other certified DivX devices which have been registered on your DivX Account. Our platform allows you to browse an electronic catalogue on our online digital video store, select the movie you wish to rent or purchase, and then download the movie using the DivX OVS Player Software without requiring an internet data package. Yes - this means no data download cost!

What is it going to cost me?

The Video-on-Demand service is a pre-paid service requiring movie credits on your Video-on-Demand customer account. Movies cost between R10 and R25 to rent. A purchase option is also available. Payments can be made by EFT or by debit order at the start of each month. Top up movie credits can be made at any time by making an top-up movie payment by EFT and sending the payment confirmation to accounts@wifidirect.co.za. Please allow up to 24 hours to allocate the payment to your movie account. Payments will only be allocated to your movie account once they payment has cleared in our bank account.

How do I view the video store?

You can view the electronic movie catalogue by requesting a test ADSL dialup account which is valid for 24 hours. You will be able to see what is available but will not be able to download any movies until you have made the necessary payment for allocation of the movie credits to you Video-on-Demand customer account.

How do I subscribe to the service?

Movie download data is not metered against your internet data package - separate VoD dialup

A maximum of 8 movie rentals are allowed on your DivX account at any given time. When you download the 9th rental movie, the oldest downloaded (1st) movie will no longer be available for viewing and will have to be downloaded again to be watched.
