WiFi DIRECT in conjunction with our content provider, OttoVod bring you the latest in Video-on-Demand technology - your own personal digital video store at home.
The offering provides you with access to the latest movies, series and documentaries from mainline and independent movie studios across the world in a Digital-to-Home format delivered directly to your home via your wireless link into the WiFi DIRECT wireless network or through an ADSL dialup into our movie server.
The Video-on-Demand content is provided using the latest DIVX DRM technology which allows you to watch any downloaded content on your PC, television or any other certified DIVX devices. The technology allows you to browse an electronic catalogue on our online digital video store, select the content you wish to rent or purchase and download the content via the DIVX Download Manager in the DIVX Player to your PC at 2 mbps (unshaped data) without the download affecting your data cap ( WiFi DIRECT wireless network customers only).
You can view the electronic movie catalogue on the OttoVod website. You are also able to view the movie catalogue through your account (see GUI on right).

The Video-on-Demand service is a pre-paid service requiring a movie credit to be deposited into a customer account against which movies can be rented or purchased. Movie cost between R10 and R35 to rent and R45 to R225 to purchase. Subscribers will also be required to pay a fixed monthly network access cost of R35 irrespective of the number of movies downloaded. The monthly subscription is payable at the start of each month by debit order only with the internet data subscription. A top up movie credit can be made anytime during the month by making a deposit into the WiFi DIRECT bank account.
