WiFi DIRECT provides two connection types for accessing the internet.

WiFi DIRECT Wireless Connection

This consists of CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) that is installed at a customer's (business or residential) premises within the WiFi DIRECT Wireless Network coverage area.  The CPE connects via a radio to the wireless signal from the nearest WiFi DIRECT distribution point and provides a customers with the necessary connectivity to receive internet access as well as other value added services from WiFi DIRECT.  The service is a symmetric service (upload and download is the same speed).  The same CPE links can be used as stand alone data links without provision of internet or other value added services.  Wireless connectiovity solutions provide greater flexibility than fixed line connectivity solutionsand are capable of higher speeds.  Monthly costs are for data only and do not consist of monthly line and DSL rental charges as is the case with an ADSL service.
